Singapore's RoRo terminal joint venture will be formed by Japan's Mitsui O.S.K. and PSA Singapore

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Japan’s second largest shipping?company said on Thursday that it had agreed with PSA Singapore to form a joint venture for the development of a RoRo terminal in Singapore.

The joint venture agreement will allow 'Mitsui to leverage its global shipping network and PSA to contribute its terminal-operating experience,' the two firms said in a joint press release.

This strategic partnership will improve terminal service reliability, operational efficiency and (Mitsui’s) RoRo service. It will also secure long-term terminal capacities to support the company's?growing demand for automobile transport," said the Japanese company.

The terminal will be operational in the first half 2026.
