South Korean millers purchase 100,000 tons of U.S. Wheat, traders claim

European traders reported that two 'South Korean milling groups' bought 100,000 metric tonnes of'milling wheat from the United States at an international auction on Tuesday.

* One group booked 50,000 tonnes?for shipment from October 15 to November '15 and the second 50,000 tonne for shipment from November 10 to December 10.

* Four different types of wheat were purchased:?soft red winter wheat with minimum 11.5%,?hard white wheat with 9.0% maximum protein and?northern spring wheat with minimum 140% protein.

* Different 'purchase prices' were shown on a 'free on board basis. The lowest was $249.28 per ton of?soft white?wheat, and the highest was $292.57 per ton of northern spring wheat.
