The Feed Leaders Committee of South Korea (FLC) purchased 132,000 metric?tons animal?feed?corn?from optional origins on?Thursday, European traders reported.

A consignment of 65,000 tons of goods was reported to have been purchased from the trading house Sucden for an estimated price of $268.30 per ton, including freight and cost.

The second consignment of 67,000 tons was purchased from the trading house Mitsui. 47,000 tons were bought at a price estimated to be $267.89 per ton c&f, and the remainder?at an additional 215.50 U.S. Cents per bushel over Chicago May corn futures.

It was thought that the?corn would arrive in South Korea in September.
