South Korea's KFA purchases approximately 66,000 tons of corn, traders claim

European traders reported that the Korea 'Feed Association' (KFA) purchased a?estimated 66, 000 metric tons of animal?feed corn on Wednesday in an international auction. The KFA's Incheon section purchased it in one shipment for arrival in South Korea on or around July 20. This was slightly later than initially sought.

Trading house Olam was thought to be the seller. If the shipment came from the U.S. Pacific Northwest Coast, as some traders expected, it was delivered between June 6 and June 30.

Incheon's KFA section is also known as the "Feed Buyers Group". The reports reflect the assessments of traders, and further estimates on?prices or?volumes can be made later. Reporting by Michael Hogan, Hamburg. Editing by
