South Korea's Major Feedmill Group (MFG), in a private deal late on Friday, purchased?68,000 tons of animal feed corn in addition to the 135,000 tons it had bought earlier that day in an international tender.

The 68,000 tonnes is expected to be sourced from South Africa, South America or the United States.

The corn was purchased at an estimated cost and freight of $250.50 per ton plus $1.50 for port unloading.

The 'purchased' goods were said to be from CHS and arrived in South Korea around July 15th. If the shipments are sourced from the U.S. Pacific Northwest Coast as some traders expected, they will arrive between June 6 and 25.

The reports reflect the assessments of traders, and future estimates of prices and volumes may be possible. Michael Hogan, reporting from Hamburg and editing by
