South Korea's MFG purchases about 50,000 tonnes of soymeal from traders

The Major 'Feedmill Group' (MFG) of South Korea purchased a?estimated amount of 50,000 metric tonnes of soymeal on Thursday in an international?tender that sought?upto 60,000 tons, European traders reported.

A consignment is believed to have cost $414.79 per ton, including the surcharge for "additional unloading at port".

The meal was to be sourced from South 'America, but there was an option?to?source a mixture of Argentinean, U.S.A. and Chinese meals.

Soymeal arrived in South Korea on August 3rd. The shipment was between June 1 and 30 if it came from South America, or between July 15 and 'August 3 if it came from China.
