HAMBURG - European traders reported on Wednesday that the leading South Korean feedmaker Nonghyup Feed Inc. (NOFI) had issued an international bid to purchase up 65,000 metric tonnes of animal feed wheat.

Also, the deadline for price proposals is Wednesday, November 12.

The wheat will arrive in South Korea as a consignment between 50,000 to 65,000 tons on or around February 15. The seller is free to choose the quantity within this range.

Wheat can come from anywhere in the world, except for Russia, Argentina and Pakistan. Denmark, China, and China are excluded. The Black Sea ports of Russia and Ukraine are not allowed to be used for wheat that is sourced locally, or even from another origin. However, loading from Russian Far Eastern port is allowed.

Shipments are needed between January 8 and 27 if the source is from the Pacific Northwest Coast of America, Australia, or Canada. If sourced from the U.S. Gulf Coast, shipment will be between December 19 and 7th.

Shipments from Europe should be made between December 24 and 12 January. If you are shipping wheat from Europe via Cape of Good Hope (often done to avoid attacks in the Red Sea), it should be sent between December 4 and December 23.

Shipments of wheat from South America are to be made between December 14 and February 2. The shipment period for South Africa is December 29 to January 17.

The offers are either outright per ton costs and freight (c&f), or a premium on Chicago March 2026 Wheat Futures. Reporting by Michael Hogan, Hamburg Editing David Goodman
