South Korea's NOFI purchased about 60,000 tonnes of soymeal from traders.
Nonghyup Feed Inc., a leading South Korean animal feed manufacturer (NOFI), purchased around 60,000 tons of soymeal on Wednesday in a private transaction without launching an international tender.
The estimated price was $338.50 per ton with cost and freight included. The price also included a surcharge to unload at a second terminal. Soymeal could be sourced from South America or the United States, but not China.
The seller was thought to be Cofco. NOFI's NH Feed purchased the soymeal and will deliver it to South Korea by February 24, 2026.
The reports reflect the opinions of traders, and it is still possible to estimate prices and volume later.
