Taiwan bids on 105,950 tonnes of wheat estimated to be US origin

European traders reported on Thursday that the Taiwan Flour 'Millers Association' has issued a?international?tender for an estimated 105,950 metric tons of grade one milling wheat from the United States.

The deadline to submit price offers for the tender is April 23.

The bidder is looking for a variety of?different types of wheat in two consignments to be shipped from?the United States. Pacific Northwest Coast. They said that a 'consignment' of 52,525 tons was needed for shipment between the dates of June 20 and July 4. The second consignment, 53,425 tonnes was requested for shipment between July 11 and 25.

The types of wheat sought are dark northern'spring, hard-red winter and soft white wheat.

The tenders of the?association provide a reliable snapshot of U.S. Wheat export prices on?Asian Markets.
