Donald Trump, on Tuesday, told Iranians to continue protesting and said that help was "on its way", but did not elaborate whether this meant possible U.S. actions.

"Iranian Patriots, KEEP PROTESTING - TAKE OVER YOUR INSTITUTIONS!!!... HELP IS COMING," Trump wrote in a Truth?Social post.

He claimed he had cancelled all meetings with Iranian officials until "senseless murder" of protesters ceased.

Trump said he was considering military action to punish Iran for its largest anti-government demonstrations in many years. An Iranian official revealed on Tuesday that 2,000 people, including security personnel, were killed during protests in Iran.
