Tunisia purchases approximately 100,000 tons of soft wheat and 50,000 durum at tender, traders report
European traders reported that Tunisia’s state grain agency allegedly purchased about 100,000 metric tons of soft wheat and 50,000 tonnes of durum at an international auction on Friday.
The tender sought 125,000 tons soft wheat.
According to traders, the soft wheat was 'purchased at an estimated low price of $271.69 per ton with freight included from Bulgarian trading house Buildcom for 25,000 tonnes.
Durum was purchased at $334.49 per tonne c&f and $334.67 per tonne c&f from trading house Casillo.
