European traders reported on Monday that the'state grain board TMO of Turkey has issued an international tender for the 'purchase and import 280,000 metric tons?of animal feed.
The deadline for submitting price offers to the tender is March 16th, they added.
Corn is needed for shipment in batches of between 20,000 to 25,000 tons between March 25 and April 10. Corn already imported to Turkey and stocked in bonded customs warehouses may also be offered. However, local supplies will not qualify for the tender.
The Turkish ports of Izmir (Bandirma),?Samsun (Karasu), or Derince are the only ones that accept shipments.
