Ukraine's military claims it has hit a Russian oil refinery terminal

Posted to Maritime Reporter on November 25, 2025

Ukraine's military said that it had hit a Russian refinery in Krasnodar and a terminal for oil in the port of Novorossiysk.

As the fighting between Ukraine and Russia approaches its fourth anniversary, Kyiv has intensified long-ranged attacks against Russian targets, notably oil installations.

In a Telegram statement, the General Staff stated that oil loading and unloading devices were damaged. The General Staff also claimed that a Russian A-60 reconnaissance plane was hit during an attack against the Beriev Military Plant.

Separately an official of Ukraine's SBU internal security service stated that the attack damaged a landing vessel which was moored close to the pier at a naval base near Novorossiysk. (Reporting and editing by Peter Graff, Max Hunder, Pavel Polityuk)
