A top U.S. General said that the 'United States' expects European NATO allies, including Canada, to increase their contribution of manned and unmanned aircraft as well as ships to the alliances defence plans. Washington is stepping back from these areas.

The United States has stated that "manned and unmanned aircraft, as well as naval vessels" are two areas where Canada and European Allies could'step-up' now and in the near future - while the United States reduces the forces'sourced to' the NATO Force Model and refocuses them elsewhere. ?Air Force General Alexus G. Grynkewich said ?in a statement ?on Wednesday.

Grynkewich, NATO's top military commander and commander of the U.S. European Command, is also commander of the U.S. European Command.
