US military claims it killed three people on latest Caribbean boat attack

?U.S. U.S. Southern Command announced on Sunday that forces had killed 'three men who the military described as 'illicit drug smugglers.

* 'Southern Command' posted a video it?claimed was of the strike - on social media platform X. It showed an exploding?small?boat traveling _on open water.

Southern Command stated that the boat was travelling on "known narcotrafficking routes" in the Caribbean.

Last month, a senior U.S. official said that the U.S. Military has killed '157 suspected members or affiliates of drug -trafficking organizations in 45 strikes on vessels in the Western Hemisphere. (Reporting? by Katie?Paul, New York; Editing?by Sergio Non and Stephen Coates).
