European traders reported on Thursday that Algeria's state grain agency OAIC purchased approximately 600,000 metric tonnes of milling wheat at an international auction which ended on Wednesday. The trader estimates for the purchase of Wednesday evening ranged between 500,000 and 600,000 tonnes.

Italy seizes Chinese military drones bound for Libya

Italian customs and police said that they intercepted two Chinese military drones disguised as wind-turbine equipment and bound for Libya. A joint statement stated that the drones had been disassembled and were hidden in six containers in the port of Gioia Tauro, in the southern region Calabria.
