The differentials between Caspian and Urals crude oil remained unchanged on Friday, in a'mild' market. Russia -and a few of its neighbouring countries - were off for the New Year holiday. There were no bids or offers reported to Platts on Friday for Urals, Azeri BTC - and CPC Blend.

According to two industry sources, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium increased its oil exports by 9% per day in September compared to August, to 6.6 millions metric tons or 1.75million barrels daily. CPC exports oil via a pipeline that carries over 80% of all Kazakh crude oil exports.
