According to data from vessel tracking and two sources with knowledge of the situation, Vitol, a top global oil trader and Sunoco North American fuel distributor took delivery on Monday of the first U.S. gasoline imports from Nigeria's newly built Dangote refinery.

State oil company executive says Nigeria can meet OPEC production target

A senior executive of Nigeria's national oil company NNPC told reporters on Tuesday that Nigeria would be able meet OPEC production targets. Udobong Nitia is the executive vice president for upstream at NNPC. He said that after years of not meeting OPEC quotas Nigeria finally met them in January.
