MAN Diesel to Feature High-Speed Engines

MAN Nutzfahrzeuge will transfer part of its business involving high-speed engines to the group’s sister company, MAN Diesel. With effect from 1 January 2010, these activities will be integrated into MAN Diesel to form a Business Unit High Speed. Detroit Diesel, Volvo Penta Collaboration Concludes

Detroit Diesel Corporation (DDC) and Volvo Penta of the Americas (VPA) have announced a mutual agreement to conclude their successful four-year collaboration which provided Detroit Diesel distribution rights for Compact and 6-16 liter inboard diesel engines and parts in North America. Engineering companies Alstom of France and MAN of Germany have agreed terms for the acquisition by MAN of ALSTOM's Diesel engines business. Through this acquisition, the MAN Group will strengthen its activities in the field of large diesel engines.
