Radio Holland USA Opens RH Long Beach Branch Operation

Radio Holland USA Inc. has appointed William Thompson as the branch Manager of the Long Beach, Calif., office. Historically, the Long Beach office has been a service center supporting the Radio Holland Group brand for the past 23 years. As Branch Manager for the West Coast territory branch operation, Bill will be instrumental in our growth which includes not only service for our global customer base but also equipment sales and service, fleet management via Fixed Price Maintenance Contracts, VSAT / INMARSAT equipment and Airtime sales and service, as well as S-VDR sales and service. Thompson comes to Radio Holland USA with a management background including positions as General Manager of a national maritime retailer, regulatory compliance consultant and security and safety director. He served in the US Navy as a Radioman where he learned both the operational and technical aspects of communications and cryptographic equipment. He holds both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Business Administration and notes on joining Radio Holland USA. Fishing, Survey, and Government.

Laborde Expands Sales & Service Network

Laborde Products added National Maintenance and Repair as a service and sales dealer.  It supports the river and rail industries with facilities in Hartford, Illinois; Paducah, Kentucky; and Harahan, Louisiana.  National Maintenance and Repair will provide sales and support for Laborde Products' Mitsubishi marine propulsion engines in all three locations. Drum Cussac’s transits security division provides security consultants in all marine environments to protect commercial shipping from seaborne piracy threats, predominantly in the Lloyds of London High Risk Area (HRA) of the Indian Ocean. Drum Cussac has provided this service to a large number of clients since 2008.


MAN Cryo to Supply FGSS for LNG Ferries in Norway

HMAS Arunta Small Weapons Go Technical

 Navy’s deployed ship in the Middle East, HMAS Arunta, has had its small arms weapons inspected, serviced and certified during a recent port visit.   HMAS Arunta is serving on a nine-month Operation MANITOU deployment which has necessitated an all-important maintenance period.
