Megayacht 'Arianna' Charters to be Handled by SG Private Wealth Advisors

SG Private Wealth Advisors oversaw construction of 50 m Megayacht 'Arianna' now chosen to market the vessel, promote for charter SG Private Wealth Advisors, a billionaire-founded multi-family office, announce it has been chosen to manage all marketing efforts involving Arianna—a 50-meter mega yacht. This includes the promotion of Arianna's availability to charter. From the start of the project in 2009, SG Private Wealth Advisors has overseen all elements of the design, construction, and commissioning process for Arianna, including the facilitation of a $13,500,000 USD yacht construction loan.  "Seeing Arianna materialize and retain the owner's original vision without compromise has been an exciting experience for our firm," said Dovi Frances, co-founder of SG Private Wealth Advisors. "We look forward to introducing individuals and families worldwide to a one of a kind charter experience onboard Arianna. We are confident that they will be astonished by her unprecedented interior volume and teak-decked exterior." The firm's marketing plans for Arianna include an interactive website, print and digital advertising, private VIP events, and a dominant presence at premier yacht shows around the globe.  Arianna will make her way to the Caribbean for this summer's charter season and will be featured in the Fort Lauderdale Show in October 2012.


Trident Shipworks Building High-Performance Luxury Catamarans

Florida's West Coast premier designer and builder of luxury yachts has expanded its services with the introduction of a new luxury catamaran series. Trident Shipworks Incorporated is working in conjunction with Royal Crown Yachts, Inc. to develop customized high-performance luxury catamarans. Stephen R. DYT Makes Large Yacht Shipments

In late February, Dockwise Yacht Transport’s (DYT) 456 ft Super Servant 3 left Port Everglades for Toulon, unloading 18 yachts and loading one in St. Thomas, then moved on to Martinique where it loaded 18 more yachts, totaling 32 power and sailing yachts for a final cargo value of $140m.  In early March, the second of DYT’s fleet of semi-submersible transport ships, the 556 ft Super Servant 4, departed from Port Everglades


PEC Premier Adds to SafeGulf Training

SEMS awareness training is now available as a part of the SafeGulf offshore safety orientation program.   On January 1st, PEC Premier added a Safety and Environmental Management System module to its one-day Basic Safety Orientation and its three-day Core safety training course, meaning that both will now meet the new requirements for SafeGulf. The company is also offering stand-alone SEMS training for offshore workers who already have their SafeGulf cards.

Premier Oil Norway AS has awarded Sevan Marine a FEED (Front End Engineering and Design) contract for the hull and marine systems of a Sevan type cylindrical FPSO for operation on the Premier Oil operated Bream field in the Norwegian Central North Sea. Sweden's Rupert Yachts has its first contract signed and production of the new Rupert 80 is under way Rupert Marine's latest design is an 80-foot luxury motor yacht intended for owners of super yachts and other demanding customers and designed in cooperation with other well-known naval architects and designers, the exterior bears the signature of Ted Mannerfelt. This 80-foot yacht is the first in series of Rupert Yachts now in development.


Huge Yacht Carrier Headed for South Pacific

New policies making it easier for foreign-flagged vessels to explore the coastlines of Australia have lead DYT Yacht Transport (DYT) to schedule its largest semi-submersible yacht carrier, the 686-foot (209-metre) Yacht Express, to deliver yachts to the South Pacific. The trip coordinates with the end of the Mediterranean charter season, starting in Genoa (Italy) in November to accommodate private luxury yachts and charter vessels departing from the Mediterranean Sea


Premier Awards FPSO FEED Contract to SBM Offshore

SBM Offshore announced it has been awarded a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract from Premier Oil plc for an FPSO for Phase 1 of its Sea Lion development in the North Falkland Basin.   The 18-month contract awarded to SBM Offshore covers the FEED elements of the proposed FPSO. The asset will be a converted FPSO with a throughput capacity of approximately 85,000 barrels per day and will operate in 450 meters of water.
