Trinity Yachts to Acquire IYC

Trinity Yachts, LLC (Trinity) and International Yacht Collection (IYC) have announced today that they have signed a Letter of Intent for Trinity to acquire IYC. This acquisition will expand Trinity's capabilities and enable it to offer its clients the entire range of yachting services: new construction, repairs, brokerage, charter management, retail charter, yacht management, and crew placement. It is expected that the purchase should be completed by July 1, 2007.

Build Project 08 is currently under construction at Profab Central Engineering Ltd in Palmerston North, New Zealand. The hull was successfully rolled over in October, and the superstructure is now taking shape. Boat-share company Vantage Yacht Club takes delivery of four electric boats from Duffy Boats Vantage Yacht Club, offering shared yacht ownership announce additions to its Fleet Membership and Non-Member rental fleets with the delivery of four electric Duffy Boats. Super Yachts Give Boost to NZ Economy

 New Zealand Customs Minister Nicky Wagner says mid-winter marks the end of another successful yacht season, with many of the remaining international yachts departing at the end of last month.   "57 superyachts visited between April 2014 and March 2015 , compared with 37 during the previous season. This is the highest number of superyacht visits since we hosted the America's Cup in 2000," Ms Wagner said.  


Yacht Assists Crew in Atlantic Rescue

The largest single masted yacht in the world assists 33 foot yacht in Atlantic rescue. The Falmouth Coastguard were contacted by their colleagues at Thames Coastguard who received a telephone call from a lady crew member on the yacht Compromise competing in the ARC Challenge 2006. MARIS Makes Agreement With Peter Johansen Group

Maritime Information Systems AS (MARIS) has made an agreement with the Peter Johansen Group A/S in Denmark to supply radar/ARPA, ECDIS and VDR to its super luxury yachts on an exclusive basis Under the name Royal Denship the Peter Johansen Group is building a series of super luxury yachts for foreign owners. ES Group Terminates Charter Contracts
