New ClassNK Surveyor Office in Cardiff

Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK) announced the official opening of a new surveyor office in Cardiff, U.K. The new office becomes the fourth new office to be opened by the Society this year, following the establishment of new offices in Malaysia, Syria, and Peru earlier this month. The new Cardiff Office is also the Society’s fourth office to be opened in the United Kingdom joining offices in London, Newcastle, and Milford Haven. Since opening its first international surveyor office in 1962, ClassNK has grown to have a global presence, with more than 170 million gross tons on its class register and 113 exclusive surveyor offices around the globe.


Ampelmann Opens Office in Houston

Ampelmann announced that it will open a new office in Houston, Texas as the next step in the company’s continued expansion.   Ampelmann said the new office strengthens its presence in the Americas and confirms the company’s commitment to the global oil and gas industry. The company, which is headquartered in Delft (The Netherlands) and has offices in Qatar and Singapore has taken up residence in the Two Allen Centre, in downtown Houston


Stolt-Nielsen Opens New Office

Last week the Stolt-Nielsen Transportation Group (SNTG) opened a new office in the Rotterdam port area. Some time ago SNTG announced the concentration of its European activities in Rotterdam. From the office the transport of ten million tons of chemical products per year is controlled: two million tons by deep sea vessels, an equal amount by short sea, 5.5 million tons by inland shipping and 400,000 tons in tank containers. SNTG deploys 37 inland vessels under its own flag.


Imtech Marine Opens Office in Spain

Imtech Marine opened a new office in the Algeciras-Strait of Gibraltar region, Spain. The office is the 74th location in the global service network of Imtech Marine. All Imtech Marine offices are strategically located along major shipping routes and near major shipbuilding centres. From the new office Imtech Marine aims to provide 24/7 maintenance services to both locally operated vessels and international shipping lines


Dan-Bunkering Relocates Another Bunker Trader

The Danish owned worldwide supplier of bunker fuels, A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd., already has offices in Denmark (Middelfart and Copenhagen), China (Shanghai and Beijing), Russia, Singapore, Monaco, and the U.S. and will shortly open their latest addition to the Dan-Bunkering group in Dubai. In connection with the opening of the new office, Bunker Trader, Raj Kiran Wuddi, will be relocated from the office in Middelfart and will join the team with Managing Director Kasper Fulton Stiedl and Pooja


ClassNK Announces Massive Expansion in Europe

Classification society ClassNK announced it will soon open more than five new offices in Europe. The announcement was made during a press conference held during the Nor-Shipping 2013 exhibition, and was highlighted by a special signing ceremony which saw four renowned Northern European owners officially transfer nearly a dozen vessels to ClassNK. The new expansion which includes new offices already established in Klaipeda, Lithuania, and Ebeltoft


AWA Opens Houston Office

American Worldwide Agencies (AWA) is adding to its global network of freight forwarders and agents with a new office in Houston, the company announced today. The Houston office is part of AWA's global expansion plans and will handle the company's growing business in the region for project freight, oil and gas, breakbulk and containerized cargo moves. Liebherr Opens Buenos Aires Office

In March Liebherr-Argentina S.A. opened a new office in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. MarAd Seeks Director for Houston Gateway Office
