Seacor Smit Reports Securities Repurchase Increase

Seacor Smit noted that its Board of Directors had raised its previously announced securities repurchase program by $55 million - resulting in an approximate increase of $73.5 million available to the Company for such purposes. QCI Wins Contract

QCI Marine Offshore LLC, a Joiner/Electrical company, has been awarded the accommodations and electrical work on Noble Drilling’s Clyde Boudreaux semisubmersible drilling rig. The work scope consists of four levels of new construction for 200 POB. The project will consist of complete outfitting and providing all support services. The project will be executed at Signal International’s shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

Keppel FELS clinches $110M rig order

Keppel FELS Limited (KFELS), the offshore arm of Keppel FELS Energy & Infrastructure Ltd. (Keppel FELS), has signed a contract with Chiles Offshore LLC (Chiles) to build a $110 million jack-up rig of KFELS MOD V "B" design, cantilevered jack-up rig. Work is expected to start immediately, with delivery scheduled for around the second quarter of 2002. This rig is one of KFELS' ultra-premium proprietary jack-up designs which has been modified in this case for non-harsh environment usage

Bumi Armada Bags Additional Contract from Lukoil

 Bumi Armada Bhd’s wholly-owned unit, Bumi Armada Caspian LLC, has signed a supplementary agreement worth RM576 million (USD 134 million) with Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft LLC (Lukoil) for an additional engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) scope of work in Russia.    Back in December 2013, Bumi Armada had bagged a 10-year, US$262 million contract from Russia’s Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft Ltd.  

ST Engineering Buys US Rig Repair Assets

Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) said it has acquired the rig repair assets of World Marine of Mississippi LLC (WMM) adjacent to its existing yard, VT Halter Marine, Inc. in Pascagoula, Miss. in the U.S., through its subsidiary Vision Technologies Marine, Inc.
