Technip Gets Important Contract from ConocoPhillips UK

Technip awarded a five-year sub-sea Inspection, repair and maintenance contract by ConocoPhillips U.K. Technip has been awarded a five-year inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) frame agreement contract by ConocoPhillips (U.K.) Limited for various assets in the Central, Southern North Sea and East Irish Sea. The contract covers diver repair and maintenance solutions for the company’s existing U.K. subsea infrastructure. Technip’s operating center in Aberdeen, Scotland, will execute the contract, which will run from 2012 until 2016, with two two-year options to extend it. Vessels from Technip’s fleet, including the Orelia, the Skandi Achiever and the Wellservicer, will be used for this project.  

Technip Awarded Contract for Field Developments

Technip has been awarded by Petrofac Energy Developments Ltd (Petrofac) a contract, worth approximately €36 million, for the development of the Don West and Don South West oil fields. These fields are located 150 miles off Shetland, in the United Kingdom North Sea and will be tied back to the Northern Producer floating production facility. Technip’s operating center in Aberdeen (Scotland) will execute the contract. It covers:

Technip to Build New Pipelay Vessel

Technip awarded STX Heavy Industries (Korea) a contract for the construction of its new pipelay vessel. This 194m-long vessel will have twin 2,800 ton reels. She will have a top tension capacity of 450 tons for laying rigid steel pipes and flexible products up to 18-in. in diameter through a dedicated lay tower installed at the stern. She will also be equipped with a 150 ton crane, a PLET (pipeline end terminations) handling system and accommodation for 140 people

BHP Billiton Awards Technip-Coflexip Offshore Contract

CSO Aker Engineering, Inc., a U.S. entity of the Technip-Coflexip Group has been awarded a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) contract by BHP Billiton for its Angostura Development Project offshore Trinidad. CSO Aker Engineering will execute the engineering contract together with sister company Technip Upstream Houston. Completion of FEED is scheduled for Q2 2002. Technip-Coflexip Awarded Contract

Technip-Coflexip has recently been awarded a contract by Brunei Shell Petroleum Co. (BSP) for its Egret Phase 1 Gas Development Project, offshore Brunei. This contract is the first one with BSP. Under the terms of a lump sum contract, worth about $22 million, Technip-Coflexip will be responsible for project management, engineering, procurement and fabrication. Technip Bags Woodside's Subsea Contract

Technip has been awarded a large(1) subsea contract by Woodside to support the development of the Greater Enfield Project offshore Western Australia, at a water depth comprised between 340 and 850 meters. The contract covers project management, design, engineering, procurement, installation and pre-commissioning (EPIC) of: - carbon steel production flowline, carbon steel water injection flowline, flexible risers and flowlines totaling 82.2 km;

Technip USA Announces Contract Award for the Freeport LNG Terminal

Freeport LNG Development, L.P. and Technip USA Corporation, a subsidiary of Technip have signed a contract for the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) leading to the finalization of the EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contract for its LNG receiving terminal to be located on Quintana Island near Freeport, Texas. The FEED is expected to be completed by the end of December with the EPC phase of the project beginning in the first quarter of 2004.

Technip Wins Lump Sum GOM Contract

Technip was awarded a lump sum contract by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation for the engineering, construction and transport of a 23,000 ton truss Spar hull for their Lucius project in approximately 7,100 feet (2,165 meters) of water depth in the US Gulf of Mexico, with first oil being scheduled in 2014. China Subsea Contract for Technip

Technip in a consortium with Offshore Oil Engineering Co. Ltd (COOEC) wins a substantial subsea contract in China. The contract, value  €200 million (Technip share: around €110 million)  was awarded by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) Deepwater Development Limited is for the South China Sea deepwater gas development project in the Panyu field, located about 150 kilometers South of Hong Kong.

Arabian Sea Contract for Technip Consortium

Technip, in a consortium with Afcons and TH Heavy Engineering, awarded offshore India contract. FMC and Technip to Complete Merger in January

USA subsea equipment firm FMC Technologies and French engineering company Technip have jointly announced that they expect their merger to be formally complete by January 16.   Houston-based FMC and Paris-based Technip will form a new entity called TechnipFMC. DOF Wins Petrobras Contract

 Norwegian offshore service company DOF has been awarded a charter contract by Brazilian energy major Petrobras for its pipe-laying support vessel Skandi Vitória.   The contract will commence in January for 532 days. Huisman said it is about to deliver the first crane built and tested at its production facility in Navegantes, Santa Catarina state, in the south of Brazil. Neptune has been awarded an air diving services contract by Technip Oceania Pty Ltd (“Technip”) for the Kitan disconnection project. The project is offshore in February and includes the provision of air diving services to assist with the disconnection and abandonment of risers, mooring chains and the umbilical from the Glas Dowr FPSO in the Joint Development Petroleum Area (JDPA). DONG Postpones Major Oil Project Offshore Denmark

Solstad Offshore Secures Contract with Technip

Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) says it has entered into a frame agreement with Technip Norge AS and Technip UK Limited (Technip) to supply vessels for trenching, construction and subsea services. The deal’s commercial terms have not been disclosed. The frame agreement, which is valid for 2016-2018, will enable Technip to utilize Normand Progress, Normand Pioneer, Normand Ranger and Normand Mariner. DOF Subsea and Technip announce the delivery of Skandi Açu and commencement of contract with Petrobras   DOF Subsea and Technip, through 50/50 owned affiliate TechDof Brasil AS, have taken final delivery of the pipe-lay support vessel (PLSV) Skandi Açu. The vessel commenced as per commitment on August 13, 2016 its eight-year charter contract with Petrobras. Technip’s latest newbuild, the diving support vessel (DSV) Deep Explorer, was officially named on Saturday, November 12, in Norway. The traditional naming ceremony was held at VARD’s Langsten shipyard. The vessel godmother was Heidi Brovoll-Bø, wife of Knut Bø, President of Technip’s North Sea Canada region.   The vessel hull was built by Vard Tulcea shipyard in Romania, and then towed to Vard Langsten in Norway for equipment outfitting and commissioning
