Second of three CTruck 20-tonne payload multi-purpose catamarans for Offshore Turbine Services given its name

The vessel for deployment at Lincs (UK) wind farm, has been named Captain P in Brightlingsea.

With two CTruk vessels now operational, Offshore Turbine Services  inked the deal for a third before the second even hit the water, being thoroughly convinced of the design’s flexibility and fuel economies gained from its lightweight construction.

CTruk technicians and staff joined the owners on board the 20T MPC, ‘Captain P’, for the traditional blessing and bottle smash, followed by a launch party at a local wine bar.

Work has already started on the third vessel at CTruk’s Brightlingsea base.
