Evergreen Expands its Service Network to Northern Mindanao

 In order to offer a wide-ranging service to the whole market of the Philippines especially in Mindanao Island, Evergreen Line who operates the fourth largest container fleet in the world will launch the new Taiwan-Philippines Service (TPH) adding new port call at Mindanao Container Terminal in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

 
The dedicated South Philippines feeder loop will utilize two containerships with a minimum capacity of 1, 300 TEU. The first sailing of the weekly TPH service will start on October 25, 2017 from Kaohsiung, Taiwan and calls at Cebu City, Cagayan de Oro City, General Santos City, Davao City and then back to Kaohsiung, Taiwan as main transhipment hub connecting to all Evergreen's global service network.  
 
The maiden voyage arrival of TPH service at Mindanao Container Terminal (MICT) in Tagaloan, Misamis Oriental is on October 29, 2017.
 
ASEAN integration is one of the main market opportunities in the region that considered by Evergreen Line, various support and assistance offered by local exporters contributed to the better export performance of the region. 
 
The ASEAN integration is providing rooms for the local export industry players to compete with the rest of the export industry players within the ASEAN, this further helps to boost the region’s competitiveness align with the standards of the International Standard Organization (ISO). 
 
The members of Regional Development Council (RDC-10) develop programs and projects including the implementation of the Export Pathway Program, “Electronic to Mobile System” or (e2m) for the lodgment of import and exports manifest, Doing Business in Free Trade Areas (DBFTA), One Town One Product Program (OTOP), Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP) and the conduct of trade fairs and trade missions.  
 
 The Evergreen Line with over 190 ships by capacity of approximately 850,000 TEU and will maintain all of the services currently operated and develop new trades to meet worldwide customer demands. 
 
The company also focused in giving the market a wise choice for sea freight requirements with service - oriented principles and reliable transport services that continuously expanding its trading routes and now to tap Northern Mindanao Area.
