Ghana Orders Adveto CVTS Port Control Software

Extended Adveto Compact Vessel Traffic System (CVTS) for Ghana Port Authority to be provided through True Heading of Stockholm. The new CVTS licenses for the ports of Tema and Takoradi represents an extension of the first AIS-order in 2011. The CVTS software is a part of a complete AIS and surveillance system delivered by True Heading (publ). The complete delivery will be performed during January 2013. “We have chosen the Adveto CVTS software for the delivery to Ghana Port Authority”, says True Heading ́s Managing Director Anders Bergström. “The Adveto CVTS software has proven not only to be very reliable but also to provide an AIS presentation fulfilling the latest international standards”.

Sweden's Adveto ECDIS-4000 system on board 'National Geographics Explorer' upgraded to fulfil IMO compliance standard. During the vessel's recent visit to Scandinavia the National Geographics Explorer was successfully upgraded with the latest software from ADVETO. The new software release has been tested and meets the standards set for ECDIS by the IHO, with particular reference to the recent IHO circular ‘Update Report on IHO Action concerning ECDIS Software Issues’. Easier Access to Electronic Charts

ENCs from Primar can now be downloaded directly to an electronic chart display and information system (ECDIS) after type-approval of the first such unit able to communicate with the internet. Certified by Det Norske Veritas, the new ECDIS-4000 from Sweden’s Adveto Advanced Technology AB complies with all relevant regulations and standards while offering unique functionalities. These include an ECDIS security internet gate (ESIG), which makes it possible to connect to the internet for both on-line ordering and downloading of Primar ENCs. This solution has been developed by Adveto in close collaboration with the Primar service, which currently offers more than 8 000 ENCs through an international distributor network.
