Ship operators will gain the benefits of leading technology from the world's largest manufacturer of welding and cutting equipment and consumables as the result of a new alliance between Ashland Specialty Chemical Company's Drew Marine Division and ESAB Welding & Cutting Products. According to the alliance agreement, Drew Marine will supplying ESAB stick and covered electrodes in bulk for shipboard maintenance, repair and steel renewal projects.
