Rever Offshore Appoints Ops Director

The subsea services provider to the oil and gas industry Rever Offshore, has announced the appointment of Bob Bryce to the newly-created role of Operations Director.The provider of fully integrated subsea construction and offshore management services said in a press release that  Bryce’s 40-year career in the oil and gas industry has seen him hold senior leadership positions on a global basis with key subsea-surf contractors, including McDermott, Subsea7 and Technip.He joins Rever’s executive team with a remit to oversee the operations, assets & services and QHSE functions. He does so as the company announces a board re-structure and will sit alongside fellow-executive team members…

Bibby Offshore Wraps up North Sea Work

Perenco appointed Bibby Offshore to perform subsea integrity inspections and maintenance works on the Inde Joint pipeline, which runs to the Bacton Gas Terminal in the Southern North Sea. Completed in early July, the 15-day workscope saw Bibby Offshore install a total of 94 concrete mattresses over the pipeline to assist in preserving the remaining rock dump mounds. The second workscope, completed in late July, saw Endeavour Energy UK contract Bibby Offshore to carry out subsea tree inspections in the Renee and Rubie fields located in blocks 15/27 and 15/28 of the Central North Sea.

Bibby Offshore Wins Shell Subsea Deal

Bibby Offshore, the leading subsea services provider to the oil and gas industry, has this year been awarded two contracts from Shell to provide inspection services on assets in the Corrib Natural Gas field in the North Atlantic Ocean. The first contract, completed in June this year, saw Bibby Offshore’s construction support vessel Olympic Ares - equipped with Quantum Work Class and SeaEye Cougar Inspection Class ROVs - perform subsea inspections 83km off the North West coast of Ireland, in water depths of approximately 360m. The 40 day campaign involved pipeline survey inspection work on a 83km long 20” gas pipeline, and internal wellhead and manifold fault diagnostics, structural inspection and cathodic protection measurements, to ensure optimum levels of productivity were achieved.

Bibby Offshore Begins Construction, IRM Campaign

Subsea installation contractor Bibby Offshore has recently commenced work with Maersk Oil UK on a multimillion pound contract that will see Bibby Offshore provide subsea construction and inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) services to all of Maersk’s North Sea assets. Dive Support Vessel (DSV) Bibby Sapphire will undertake the offshore execution work, and an extensive engineering project management team based onshore will support this. “We have successfully completed contracts for Maersk Oil in the past and we are delighted to continue our working relationship.
