Energy Opinion: China May End Australian Coal Import Ban

Talk that China may end its unofficial ban on imports of Australian coal is unlikely to result in any significant increase in shipments to the world's biggest coal buyer.Media reports last week suggested that Beijing is considering lifting the informal embargo, put in place in the second half of 2020 as tensions escalated with Canberra over a series of issues.Coal wasn't the only commodity affected, as China placed restrictions or bans on imports of barley, seafood and wine, among others.The unofficial ban was effective, with Australia going from being China's biggest supplier of coal in July

Dive, Safety Products Company, Files 'Deepwater Horizon' Claim

Brownie's Marine Group, Inc. a leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of highly specialized dive and safety products, announce that it had filed a claim against the BP Deepwater Horizon Settlement Fund to recover economic damages it had suffered as a result of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico on April 20, 2010. Robert Carmichael, Chairman and CEO stated, "The BP oil spill had a significant negative economic impact on our business in the Gulf States where we operate. I'm pleased to report that a recovery has started to occur in the affected areas with respect to orders we are seeing for Brownie's products, however, we still see the lingering impact of the spill. Test Platform for Steam Generation Technology

Brownie's Marine Group, Inc. (OTCBB:BWMG), today announced that on May 25, 2012, the Molecular Impact Energy (MIE) steam generation system produced continuous steam without a conventional boiler apparatus. The MIE system was also successfully attached to a conventional double acting two-cylinder steam engine. Developing the test platform to prove the relative energy efficiency of the Molecular Impact Energy (MIE) invention and the eventual integration for the entire marine industry for which Brownie's has exclusive rights, is a key near-term goal of the Company. Robert Carmichael, Brownie's CEO stated, "The test results in this first phase are extremely encouraging.
