Claudio Bozzo Selected As 2013 Person of the Year

The New York/New Jersey Foreign Freight Forwarders and Brokers Association (NY/NJ FFFBA) has selected Claudio Bozzo, President and CEO of Mediterranean Shipping Company (USA) Inc., to receive the "2013 Person of the Year" Award. For nearly 100 years, this award has recognized those who have significantly impacted the region's global trade community. The award will be presented during the annual dinner at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Wednesday, January 23. Mediterranean Shipping Names Bozzo Executive VP

Mediterranean Shipping Company (USA) Inc. announced that Claudio Bozzo has been elected as Executive Vice President of the company, based in the New York City headquarters. Bozzo has been with MSC since 1991, when he joined the company as Traffic Analyst. Since then he has held increasingly responsible management positions in Documentation, Customer Service and Strategic Planning. Most recently he has served as Senior Vice President, Liner Service and Quality Control. Commenting on this appointment Arena said, “I am very pleased to be making this announcement, Claudio has been with us for 11 years, and this elected position recognizes his extraordinary dedication and ability in his work.”

MSC Announces Promotions

Mediterranean Shipping Company (USA) Inc. has announced key executive promotions that go into effect January 1, 2006. Claudio Bozzo has been named president and chief operating officer; Allen Clifford will now serve as executive vice president, Commercial; Robert Milazzo is promoted to executive vice president, Intermodal and Equipment Control; Giancarlo Morgera has been named senior vice president, Liner Services; Christopher J. Parvin is now vice president Marine Operations; and Fabio Catassi is promoted to president and chief operating officer of Interlink Technologies, the IT subsidiary company of MSC (USA) Inc. Nicola Arena remains with MSC (USA) as its newly named chairman as well as chief executive officer of MSC (USA) Inc. and its subsidiary Interlink.
