COSCO Delivers PSV and Two Jack-up Rigs

Cosco (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of its 51 percent owned Cosco Shipyard Group Co., Ltd., has delivered two jackups to the Foresight Group of companies through United Arab Emirates-based drilling and rig management services firm Hallworthy International FZC. Cosco Dalian signed the delivery documents for the two jackups,"N527" and "N581" -- possibly Vivekanand 2 (350' ILC) and Vivekanand 3 (350' ILC) -- with the buyer recently. The  jack-up  rigs,  both  measuring  74.09  meters  in  LOA  (length  of  all),  62.80  meters  in width,  are  designed  to  operate  at  water  depths  of  350  feet  and  is  capable  of  performing drilling operations at depths of up to 30,000 feet.

COSCO to Build Livestock Carrier

The Board of Directors of COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited have informed that COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of the Company’s 51% owned subsidiary, COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd, has secured a contract valued at approximately USD30 million from a European buyer to build one (1) 4500 square meters Livestock Carrier. The Livestock Carrier is scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2016. Additionally, the ship owner has an option to render effective, within six (6) months, one (1) contract for the construction of a similar vessel. The Company will announce when the contract under the option is declared effective.

COSCO Delivers Bulker

COSCO Corpn Wins $ 230 mi Contracts

1. COSCO (Qidong) Offshore Co., Ltd Contract from a Singapore entity to build one (1) Floating Accommodation Unit (FAU) scheduled for delivery in 1Q2017. The buyer has also secured options for five (5) additional FAUs. 2. COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd The contract under the first option cited in the announcement dated 12 September 2013 to build one (1) 21,000DWT Module Carrier for a European company has been rendered effective. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2Q2016. Save for their respective shareholdings in the Company, none of the directors or controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect in the contracts.

COSCO Delivers Jack-Up Rig to Asian Buyer

The Board of Directors of COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited announced that COSCO (Nantong) Shipyard Co., Ltd a subsidiary of the Company's 51% owned COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd, has delivered one jack-up rig, “KAI XUAN YI HAO”, to its Asian buyer. The delivery documents were signed by and between COSCO Nantong and the buyer recently. The jack-up rig, measuring 66.71 meters in LOA (length of all), 67.06 meters in width, is designed to operate at water depths of 400 feet and is capable of performing drilling operations at depths of up to 35,000 feet.

China's Dalian Shipyard to Build Deepwater Jack-Up

COSCO Corporation inform that its subsidiary Dalian Shipyard has been contracted to build a jack-up rig based on the LeTourneau Super 116E Class design. The US$184-million order has been placed by Derwent Ocean Limited S.A, part of Foresight Group. COSCO inform that the new rig will be built to ABS classification, with notation A1, and will be a self elevating drilling unit capable of drilling HPHT wells. It will be capable of operating in 350 feet water, with accommodation for up to 120 persons onboard. Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2016. China Shipyard Delivers Tender Rig Barge

COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard informs of the delivery of a self-erecting drilling tender barge, to the firm Energy Drilling. The tender barge has a working depth of 2,000 meters, a drilling depth of 20,000 feet and is equipped with heavy lift cranes with a safe working load of 400 metric tonnes. According to PetroWiki, Tender Assist Drilling (TADs) units were the rig of choice in the 1950s and early 1960s in the Gulf of Mexico for development drilling off fixed platforms. They are used less commonly now, but are appropriate for certain situations, and sometimes for new drilling from an aging platform near shore. China Shipyards Win US$100-Million OSV Contracts

1. COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd., has secured a contract from an Asian company to build four Emergency Response / Rescue / Field Support Vessels (ERRVs), scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2016. 2. Two shipbuilding contracts signed by COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co., Ltd, with a European ship owner for the construction of two PX121 Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs) have been declared effective. The two vessels are expected to be delivered in the first and second quarters of 2016 respectively. Additionally, the ship owner has an option to render effective, within six months, two contracts for the construction of similar PX121 PSVs. The new ship measures 229 meters in LOA, 32.26 meters in breadth and is 20.25 meters in depth. Founded in June 2001, COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd, is a subsidiary of China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO). It specializes in large vessel construction, marine engineering, conversion, and  ship repair services. China Shipyard Delivers Offshore Pipelay Heavy Lift Vessel

COSCO (Nantong) Shipyard a subsidiary of the COSCO Shipyard Group informs it has delivered a pipelay heavy lift vessel, "SapuraKencana 1200", to its Asian buyer. The pipelay heavy lift vessel is designed to carry out multiple functions including oil piping processing, laying, installation and heavy lifting. China Shipyard to Build Two PSV's

COSCO Corporation inform that two contract options for the construction of two platform supply vessels (PSV) at their COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard have been declared effective. The option contracts, valued at approximately US$60-million, were from a Singapore based company. COSCO add that barring any unforeseen circumstances, the option contracts are not expected to have a material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of the Company for the year ending 31 December 2014.

EIVA System Leads the Way for A2SEA Jack-ups

This October, the Danish offshore engineering specialist EIVA came one Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) closer to fulfilling the delivery of a complete jack-up positioning system solution for A2SEA. The system will be installed on a vessel designed to operate under demanding conditions and is part of a $155 million contract. EIVA has successfully completed the FAT of the second of two complete navigation and leg penetration/barge displacement monitoring system solutions to be delivered to A2SEA, an installation and service provider for offshore wind farms.

COSCO Nantong Shipyard to Build Semi-Sub Accommodation Rig

The Chinese shipyard, a subsidiary of COSCO Shipyard Group Co. Ltd., has secured a contract valued over US$ 200-million from Mexico's COTEMAR S.A. De C.V. The contract is to build a harsh environment semi-submersible accommodation vessel, which will be built to GustoMSC Ocean500 design and have capacity for 750 persons, a DP3 Dynamic Positioning system and is designed to operate in the Santos Basin, Gulf of Mexico and in the North Sea. COTEMAR S.A. De C.V.,has now exercised the first option unit awarded by COSCO. COTEMAR S.A. De C.V., was awarded altogether two options units in March 2012 when the 1st unit hull were contracted. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 24 months time.

COSCO China Yards Announce a Slew of Contracts

COSCO Zhoushan are to construct four tankships and COSCO Dalian a tankship and a stinger barge. The Zhoushan contract is with a European owner for the construction of four 110,000 dwt tankships and is worth over US$180-million in total. Delivery of the above four tankers is expected to commence from the first half of 2015. The Dalian contracts are for: Contstruction of a 22,000 dwt tankship for an Asian company, scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2014. Separately, COSCO (Zhoushan) Shipyard Co., Ltd (which is also a subsidiary of COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd.) has secured a contract from a European company to build a stinger barge. The barge is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2014. The total value of the above two contracts is over US$36 million.

China COSCO Yards Deliver Tender Rigs, Capesize Bulk Carrier

COSCO (Nantong) Shipyard deliver two tender rigs, & COSCO (Zhoushan) Shipyard a Capesize bulk carrier. COSCO (Nantong), a subsidiary of the Company's 51% owned COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd, has delivered two tender rigs "T-16" and "T-17", to Seadrill. The delivery documents were signed by and between COSCO Nantong and Seadrill recently. At almost the same time COSCO announced that COSCO (Zhoushan) has delivered a bulk carrier of 82000 dwt, "DL DAHLIA", to its Asian buyer. The dimensions of the new ship are: 229 meters in LOA and 32.26 meters in breadth. COSCO inform that the delivery documents were signed by and between COSCO Zhoushan and the buyer on 28 May 2013.

Offshore Accommodation Rig Order for COSCO

COSCO Corp. (Singapore} subsidiary COSCO Qidong Offshore Co to build the accommodation rig for European joint venture company. The contract, valued at US$200-million.is for the construction of a harsh environment semi-submersible accommodation rig for Axis Offshore, a joint venture between Danish shipowner, J. Lauritzen and Norwegian private equity fund, HitecVision. Signatory of the contract was COSCO Qidong Offshore Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of the Company’s 51% owned subsidiary, COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd Delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2015.
