The United States stands ready to facilitate maritime border talks between Lebanon and Israel that will have benefits for the crisis-hit Lebanese economy, a U.S. envoy said on Thursday.On a visit to Beirut, Under Secretary of State David Hale blamed Lebanese leaders for failing to end a deadlock in cabinet talks to tackle the collapse, which has crashed the currency. Ocean Safety, Richard Irvin Marine Safety Merger

Ocean Safety has today announced the merger with Richard Irvin Energy Solutions Marine Safety Division and their Aberdeen branch. This merger follows the 3Si Group’s recent acquisition of both companies, which are set to combine premises in Aberdeen to operate from a single expanded facility. The consolidation into the new 5,000sq ft space will facilitate the growth of the workforce, increasing sales efficiency and servicing capabilities in both the onshore and offshore maritime sector. Unprecedented growth for Atlantic Pacific Marine, one of the world’s fast growing marine and offshore engineering services companies, has resulted in it having to open a new UK HQ. In just three years since its 2010 set-up, the company has seen turnover soar to over £4million, with net profits consistently over 25%. Turnover to-date for 2013 is £4.2 million, against a net profit of £1.3million. Atlantic Pacific Marine’s customers include Carnival Cruises, Princess Cruises,P&O,Wartsila, Total Oil and NOV.
