BMT Reports Strong Performance for 2014

BMT Group Ltd. announced a strong performance for the year to September 30, 2014, a period which saw BMT secure revenues of £165.1 million with underlying operating profits of £10 million, a proportion of which has been distributed to the staff through the company’s profit share schemes. Comprising 24 operating companies, involved in activity across 10 markets in 35 countries, the BMT group said it continues to concentrate on its core maritime-focused offering across the defense, energy, environment and transport sectors.

BMT Reports Strong Full Year Performance

BMT Group Ltd (BMT), the international design, engineering and risk management consultancy, has announced another strong financial performance for the year to September 30, 2012. By focusing on markets where it can deliver high-value customer solutions, revenues from BMT’s continuing businesses rose 22% to £156m and underlying operating profits increased to £13.7m, a proportion of which has been distributed to the staff through the company’s profit share schemes. BMT: Annual Report Shows Solid Performance

A resilient performance As competition intensifed and demand weakened, BMT faced diffcult market conditions across most areas of the business during the reporting period. Given these circumstances the group performed well, with revenues from continuing businesses rising 8% to £127m and underlying operating profts unchanged at £6.5m. With competition keen and our customers’ budgets under pressure we were, however, unable to make further progress in our strategic aim of improving underlying margins.
