Regulaters Europa won the contract to supply a new control and monitoring system for the Trinidad and Tobago Coastguard. The contract, from Devonport Management Ltd., to supply a system for the 436 ft. patrol vessel Cascadura. The scope of the supply includes a new machinery control room desk, Viking 22 Propulsion Control Panel, wheelhouse drop-in-plate and open bridge plate. The Viking 22 propulsion control panel will replace the existing mechanical/hydraulic governors, and will provide digital governing for propulsion control as well as alarm and monitoring capabilities, including the starting and stopping of the prime mover and the clutch engagement.
