GL Tests and Approves Stauff Filter Elements

Regal Beloit Finalize Cemp Acquisition

US-based manufacturer of electric motors, mechanical and electrical motion controls and power generation products, Regal Beloit, has closed on the acquisition of Cemp, s.r.l., a European manufacturer of hazardous duty motors primarily for oil and gas and marine applications. Regal inform that for 2014 and 2015, Cemp is anticipated to be accretive to earnings per share by $0.03 to $0.05 and $0.06 to $0.08, respectively. Regal's fourth quarter 2013 earnings guidance provided in an earlier earnings release did not include the anticipated results of this acquisition.

ACD Nets Two LNG Pump Orders

ACD has been engaged by DSME to engineer and supply two high pressure LNG fuel gas pump systems for new 173,400 cbm ME-GI LNG carriers forTEEKAY Shipping Ltd, with options to order up to three additional systems. The vessel will be Det Norske Veritas (DNV) classified and meet or exceed environmental standards. Delivery of the LNG fuel gas pump systems is expected to begin no later than February 2015. Markey Secures Order for Science Winches

SEATTLE  —  Markey Machinery  announced that it has been awarded an order for a complete suite of winch systems onboard AGOR-27, a new academic research vessel, under construction at Dakota Creek Industries,  in Anacortes, Washington. Sponsored by the US Navy’s Office of Naval Research, this award continues a plan to renew America’s aging fleet of academic research vessels, including ocean ranging vessels like the US Navy’s Knorr (AGOR-15).
