American Crane Promote Norheim Executive V-P

American Crane & Equipment Corporation, an Eastern Pennsylvania based manufacturer of overhead electric cranes and hoist says it has appointed Karen Norheim, formerly Vice President of Marketing and Information Technology, as Executive Vice President. Karen Norheim joined the company in 2002 and has served as Vice President of Marketing and Information Technology for the past six years. As VP of Marketing and IT, Norheim coordinated marketing activities and established network and computer systems for this large manufacturing corporation. Norheim studied at Pennsylvania State University, earning two undergraduate degrees in Marketing/International Business and International Studies. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Information Science and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Volvo Penta Appoints US Mid-Atlantic Power Center Agency

Volvo Penta of the Americas says it has appointed Johnson & Towers as an authorized Power Center for the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region. The company will be responsible for sales and service of Volvo Penta leisure & commercial marine engines for New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, eastern Pennsylvania and Bermuda. Johnson & Towers is a family-owned business focused on distribution and service of heavy diesel engines and transmissions for on-highway, off-highway, marine and power generation markets since 1926.

Eni Targets Growth in North American Market

Eni USA R&M subsidiary of Eni S.p.A. (seventh largest integrated  multinational oil and gas company headquartered in Italy present in 90 countries) plans to go beyond its historical business area of Quebec, Ontario, eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York boroughs where it has sold its high quality lubricants since 1987. In the last two years, Eni USA R&M changed its business model by selling its products mostly through distributors instead of direct selling to its customers.

Philadelphia Gear Appoints Biddle As NE Regional Sales Manager

Philadelphia Gear Corporation announced the promotion of Scott Biddle, 36, to the newly created position of Northeast Regional Sales Manager. Biddle's new position includes management of sales growth throughout the eastern U.S. - an area already covered by himself, several Philadelphia Gear sales personnel, and three independent firms who represent Philadelphia Gear in their respective territories - along with the expansion of his own sales territory to include eastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey. Isbre Signs Contract With Jo Tankers

According to reports, Isbre Holding Corp. said that it has entered into a contract with Jo Tankers, for bulk transportation of Isbre Norwegian glacier spring water. Isbre's water will be extracted directly from its spring source in Osa, Norway. It will be loaded in bulk into cargo tanks on Jo Tankers vessels, and transported to special water storage tanks at Isbre's first bottling plant in Bristol, Pennsylvania. Distribution arrangements covering Canada, Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, and New Jersey have already been determined.
