ShipServ opens Singapore office

ShipServ, the leading marine and offshore marketplace with an expected annual trade of $3bn in 2015, has cemented its position in Asia with the opening of a new office in Singapore. The office will be managed by ShipServ’s VP of Sales Sharon Gill and will be open for business from July 1st. “We are very excited to get much closer to one of the biggest and most vibrant shipping markets in the world and will look to increase our already substantial customer base in the region,” said Kim Skaarup, Chief Operating Officer of ShipServ. Singaporean owners, managers and shipyards currently using ShipServ include Keppel Shipyard, Thome Ship Management, EMAS AMC, MOL Shipmanagement and American Eagle Tankers. There are also 4000 Singaporean suppliers on the platform.

Ezra Wins UK North Sea Contracts

Offshore service provider Ezra Holdings has announced that subsea division, EMAS AMC, has won global contracts values at over $115m including options, reports Business Times. These contracts include one for rigid pipe lay for the Aviat field development in the UK North Sea; engineering and offshore support work in West Africa for an oil major which will be undertaken together with Ezra's subsidiary company, EMAS Offshore Limited. Other subsea contract work includes ROV support services and High Voltage Alternate Current (HVAC) pull-ins. Ezra Bags $70m in Offshore Contracts

Ezra Holdings Limited, a leading contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry, today announced that the Group’s Subsea Services division, EMAS AMC, has won multiple new awards from various energy companies valued at over US$70 million. The scope of work includes subsea installation of umbilicals, flowlines and jumpers, as well as provision of services to support rigs. Gerhard Furø Joins Havyard

On 4 August, Gerhard Furø took up the position of Vice President technical and commercial for Havyard Design & Solutions AS. Gerhard Furø has previously been a consultant with Boatlabs AS, where, in recent years, he has been working under a contract with EMAS AMS and engaged in the operation of ships and technical and commercial follow-up of newbuild projects. In Havyard Design & Solutions, he will be working together with sales, design and the project organisation on the delivery of design and equipment packages. Furø's previous experience includes 16 years as project manager, project director and production director at Ulstein Shipyard.

Singapore's Ezra Holdings Profits Rocket

Ezra informs that it has sustained another quarter of growing revenues and improving operating performance with fiscal 9M 2014 revenues crossing the US$1 billion mark. Ezra, a leading contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas (O&G) industry, adds that it achieved a record revenue of US$1 billion for the nine months ended 31 May 2014 (“9M14”), a 24% increase from US$842.9 million in the previous corresponding period (“9M13”). Revenue for the three months ended 2014 (“3Q14”) has also outperformed previous year (“3Q13”), increasing 27% to US$402.1 million. Adjusted EBITDA for the Group grew 144% to US$125.4 million and adjusted profit after tax turned from a loss of US$43.5 million in 9M13 to a profit of US$25.0 million in 9M14.

EMAS AMC Installs 50 Platforms for Chevron

EMAS AMC, the subsea services division of EMAS, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry has achieved the milestone of installing 50 platforms for Chevron in the Gulf of Thailand. Under a multiyear contract that commenced in 2011, EMAS AMC has also laid 376km of subsea pipes utilizing the construction vessel Lewek Champion, a DP2 rigid pipe laying vessel with heavy lift capabilities. Chevron has since extended the contract to 2015 with a further option thereafter. In 2014, EMAS AMC is expected to install 25 pipelines and 10 platforms of which 15 and seven, respectively, have already been completed. emas.com

EMAS Awarded Gunflint GoM Project

EMAS, the operating brand of Ezra Holdings, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas (O&G) industry, today announced that it has received a Letter of Agreement (LOA) from Noble Energy for the Gunflint Project in the Gulf of Mexico (GoM). Under the terms of the agreement EMAS’s Subsea Services division, EMAS AMC has been nominated to perform the offshore installation of pipelines, umbilicals and ancillary equipment for the Gunflint Project in the Mississippi Canyon area of the US GoM in water depths in excess of 2,000 meters. EMAS Wins Subsea Projects Worth More han $125M

EMAS Wins Nearly $80m in Subsea Projects

EMAS announced that its Subsea Services division (EMAS AMC) has been awarded projects worth a total of approximately $80 million (USD), including options. The scope of these projects cover a large spectrum of subsea work, including the decommissioning and towage of an FPSO in Asia and the deployment of an inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) vessel in the Americas. Work for a majority of the contracts is expected to commence by the first half of 2014. “We are extremely pleased with these contract wins, which allows us to showcase the breadth of capabilities that EMAS AMC possesses as well as our global reach,” said EMAS’s Group CEO and Managing Director, Lionel Lee. “It is an auspicious start to the new year.

Keppel Wins $120m in Offshore Contracts

Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd's (Keppel O&M) subsidiaries Keppel Shipyard Ltd (Keppel Shipyard) and Keppel Nantong Shipyard Co. Ltd (Keppel Nantong) won five contracts worth about $120m in total. "We are glad to have the support of repeat and new customers for a range of offshore and marine projects," said Michael Chia, MD (Marine and Technology) of Keppel O&M. EMAS Wins US$110-million Subsea & Offshore Contracts

Singapore's EMAS, the operating brand of Ezra Holdings, announce that its Subsea Services (EMAS AMC) and Offshore Support Services (EMAS Marine) divisions have been awarded projects worth US$110 million. These projects will be executed in the Gulf of Mexico and the Asia-Pacific region. EMAS AMC’s project wins come from a national oil company operating in the Gulf of Mexico for a SURF type offshore installation project, while the other comes from an oil major operating in Asia for pipeline repair works.

EMAS AMC Wins $126 Million Floater Installation Contract

EMAS AMC, the subsea services division of EMAS, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry and the operating brand of Ezra Holdings Limited, has announced that it has been awarded a transport and floater installation contract for two FSUs, with an option for a third, from Statoil for their Heidrun and Mariner fields. The contract is valued at approximately $126 million (*1), including options. C.J. The work scope for all three projects consists of the pre-installation of mooring systems, followed by the transport, hook-up and installation of the FSUs in their respective fields. The projects will be managed out of EMAS AMC’s Oslo office.

EMAS Awarded $505 Million in New Projects

EMAS, the operating brand of Ezra Holdings, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry, announced that its Subsea Services (EMAS AMC) and Offshore Support Services (EMAS Marine) divisions have been awarded projects worth approximately $505 million. These projects will be executed in the North Sea, Africa, the Gulf of Mexico and the Asia-Pacific region. EMAS AMC has received a letter of intent for a $120 million project offshore West Africa in 2014 utilizing its flagship vessel, the Lewek Constellation together with the Lewek Express. Based on its heavy-lift capabilities, the Lewek Constellation will execute jacket and deck installation, with the Lewek Express undertaking the SURF and rigid pipeline installation scope.

EMAS AMC Partners with Cecon for Pipelay Work

Lewek Centurion (formerly Caesar) to install pipelines in support of existing Cecon projects. EMAS AMC, the subsea services division of EMAS, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas (O&G) industry and the operating brand of Ezra Holdings Limited, announced  that its pipelay vessel, the Lewek Centurion has been contracted by Cecon in the North Sea for some 60 kilometers of pipeline installation work, in support of Cecon’s 2013 project commitments currently in-hand. Both parties have expressed a shared commitment to explore further opportunities for cooperation in the future. The Lewek Centurion is a 146 meters long DP-2 deepwater S-lay vessel with a 405Te pipelay tension capacity and a 300Te crane.

Ezra Subsea Wins Valuable EPCI Norwegian Sea Contract

Ezra Holdings'  subsea division EMAS AMC, wins US$ 75 million Statoil subsea engineering, procurement & offshore construction (EPCI) contract. The contract is for subsea work on Statoil's Smørbukk South Extension project in the Norwegian Sea. Discovered in 1985, the Smørbukk South Extension holds estimated recoverable reserves of 16.5 million barrels of oil equivalent, and will be developed with a new subsea template connected to existing infrastructure in the area. The contract scope includes the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of flexible flowlines, tie-in spools, manifold and umbilical as well as associated abandonment and removal activities. EMAS AMC, the subsea services division of EMAS, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry and the operating brand of Ezra Holdings Limited, announced today that it has been awarded a subsea engineering, procurement and offshore construction contract from Statoil for the Smørbukk South Extension’s project. EMAS Wins Statoil Contract

EMAS AMC, the subsea services division of EMAS, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry, announced today that it has won a contract from Statoil for the transport and installation of subsea templates for the Norwegian Sea’s deepest offshore project – the Aasta Hansteen field development. EMAS AMC’s scope of work includes the transport and installation of two four-slot templates and one single-slot template. All templates will be transported from Aker Solutions’ facilities in Sandnessjøen in Norway. EMAS AMC will utilize its advanced subsea construction vessel, Lewek Connector, for transport and installation work, and will partner local suppliers in Sandnessjøen for most of the required work preparations and vessel supplies.

EMAS Wins $165m Norwegian North Sea Contract

The contract is for rigid pipe-lay and related subsea work, in the Ivar Aasen field in the Norwegian North Sea.

Vietnam Offshore Contract for EMAS AMC

EMAS AMC contracted by Petroleum Technical Services Corporation Mechanical and Construction to provide facilities for the Dua sub-sea field. Singapore-based EMAS AMC, the subsea division of EMAS, a leading global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas (O&G) industry, has been awarded a contract from Petroleum Technical Services Corporation Mechanical and Construction (PTSC M&C) for the transportation and installation of facilities for the Dua subsea field, which will be developed as a subsea tie-back to the Chim Sao Field in offshore Vietnam. The contract value is approximately US$47-million and will commence in the third quarter of 2012.

Aker Solutions Sells Offshore Ship to Ocean Yield

AMC Connector AS, a Aker Solutions & Emas Offshore joint venture, has agreed to sell subsea construction & cable-lay vessel 'Lewek Connector'. In October 2010, Aker Solutions announced that it would sell its offshore construction and installation subsidiary Aker Marine Contractors to Ezra Holdings Limited (Ezra), which operates in the offshore construction market under the EMAS AMC brand name. As part of this transaction, Ezra agreed to acquire 50 percent of the shares in Lewek Connector's vessel owning company, AMC Connector AS. The divestment of Aker Marine Contractors marked the start of a restructuring of Aker Solutions, which has since streamlined the company into becoming a fully-fledged provider of oilfield products, systems and services.
