EIMA, HCT Begin Academic Cooperation

Emirates International Maritime Academy & Higher Colleges of Technology Look to Produce New Cadre of UAE Maritime & Seafaring Experts. The Emirates International Maritime Academy (EIMA) will collaborate with the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) to investigate avenues for the training of the UAE’s future maritime engineers and seafarers with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). EIMA’s Resource Management training in Middle East

Emirates International Maritime Academy (EIMA) has announced that it has expanded its maritime training resources by becoming a Maritime Resource Management (MRM) provider in the Middle East after recently signing a licensing agreement with the Swedish Club Academy, a company associated with the Swedish Club, a lmarine mutual insurer from Sweden. The agreement was signed by Captain Jaafar bin Sidin, Director of EIMA, and Martin Hernqvist, Managing Director at the Swedish Club Academy.

Dubai Maritime City & Arab Sea Ports MOU

Dubai Maritime City Authority recently held a meeting in Cairo with the Arab Sea Ports Federation (ASPF) to activate the memorandum of understanding signed by both parties earlier this year, which aims at identifying and capitalizing on joint opportunities for cooperation and mutual growth between the two parties.
