DOF Subsea Bags Three-year MPSV Charter with Exxon in Australia

ExxonMobil has awarded a long-term contract to offshore vessel owner DOF Subsea for the provisions of multi-purpose supply vessel services in Australia.The contract is for three years firm plus two one-year extension options. Under the contract, DOF will provide an MPSV to Esso Australia, an Australian Subsidiary of ExxonMobil."Preparatory support services associated with the contract are underway with the delivery of the vessel to follow later in 2022," DOF said.Mons S. Aase, CEO DOF ASA said: "This is our second long-term contract with Esso in Australia and a very important win for us.

New Contracts, Extensions for MMA Offshore

MMA Offshore, the provider of marine solutions and expertise to the offshore oil and gas industry, has been awarded a number of new contract awards and extensions.AGR Australia has awarded MMA a two-vessel contract supporting the Noble Tom Prosser Rig as part of the Victorian government’s CarbonNet Project, said the Australian company.The contract is expected to start late this month with a duration of about 45 days, the owner and operator of 30+ offshore supply vessels said.Esso Australia Pty Ltd has awarded MMA a three-vessel contract, also supporting the Noble Tom Prosser Rig and commencing in direct continuation of the AGR contract.

Farstad Offshore Vessel Squadron Chartered Out

Inpex has awarded contracts to AHTS Far Sword (2006, UT 712 L, 14.700 BHP) and AHTS Far Stream (2006, UT 712 L, 14.700 BHP). Commencement is expected to take place in November 2014. The duration of the contracts will be approx. 40 months, with further up to 24 months options. In addition the PSV Far Seeker (2008, UT 751 E, 4.905 DWT) has been awarded a contract by Inpex with commencement expected to be in November 2014. The contract is for a firm duration of 18 month with further up to 24 months options. The vessel is for the time being traded in the North Sea. Woodside Energy Ltd. has awarded AHTS Far Sirius (2014, UT 731 CD, 24.400 BHP) a 16 month contract, with further up to 18 months options. Commencement is expected to take place in October 2014.

Farstad Wins 5-Year Deals for PSVs

Farstad Shipping has been awarded two five year contracts by Esso Australia for the provision of two dynamic positioning platform supply vessels (Far Scandia and Lady Kari-Ann) to support Esso's production operations in Bass Strait, Australia. The contract turnover is approx. NOK350 million and is scheduled to start in mid January upon the delivery of the Far Scandia to Esso's Barry Beach Marine Terminal. Farstad Shipping has recently completed the previous support contract to Esso in Bass Strait (also five years duration) with the vessels Lady Elizabeth and Lady Kari-Ann. The latter vessel will remain on as part of the two vessel service whereas Lady Elizabeth is expected to rejoin the Australasian market in late January.
