Q88 LLC Opens Office in Athens

Q88 LLC, a software as a service technology provider to the maritime industry, has opened an office in Athens, Greece. According t o the company, the new office further increases the its presence in Europe and will serve as a key hub for client relations and business development. “The Greek shipping community is so important to our success as a company and the industry as a whole. Having a presence in Greece is something we are very excited about. Suncor Questionaire Integrated for Ship Operators

Heidenreich Innovations LLC announced the completion of a project to integrate Suncor's vetting system with Q88.com's questionnaire system. Ship operators are required to complete the Suncor questionnaire on the Suncor Marine Risk Management System prior to each fixture. The integration will enable the ship operators to populate the responses to the Suncor questionnaire with the vessels' data stored in their Q88.com account.

Heidenreich Marine Implements New Organizational Structure

Heidenreich Marine plans to implement a new organizational structure. The purpose of the new structure is to better serve the company's existing customers and pool partners and to facilitate Heidmar's growth in oil transportation and related industries. A new parent company, which will be called Heidmar Inc. will be formed to provide oversight of all the Heidmar companies and to manage the strategic growth of the organization. Per Heidenreich, currently the President of HMI, will become the Chairman and CEO of Heidmar. Charles Tammara, who is currently a Vice President and CFO of HMI, will become an Executive Vice President and CFO of Heidmar.

MSCGI Signs Agreement to Acquire Heidmar

Morgan Stanley Capital Group Inc. (MSCGI), has reached a definitive agreement to acquire the Heidmar Group of companies, including Texas-based Houston Marine Services, Inc. (Heidmar). The acquisition is expected to close during MSCGI’s fiscal fourth quarter, subject to the customary closing conditions, such as regulatory and antitrust reviews. Financial terms were not disclosed.
