Sales Agreement Extends ROMAR Business in Middle East

Aberdeenshire-based oilfield service company ROMAR International has entered a two year agreement with STEP Oiltools to represent the company in the Middle East. This agreement follows on from a successful contract already in place with STEP Oiltools to promote ROMAR’s range of magnetic separation products in South East Asia which has seen the company’s sales increase by 95% in the region. As part of the South East Asia contract, two successful jobs were recently completed in North West Australia and Brunei with a combined contract value of $1.2 million.

Romar Award Frontier £650,000 for Personnel Management

Aberdeenshire-based oilfield service company Romar International has awarded the contract of the management of its offshore workforce to Frontier International, an Aberdeen based international oil and gas recruitment company. The personnel management contract, worth £650,000 in year one will require Frontier International to provide the management and logistics for up to 35 offshore operational personnel to support Romar’s North Sea and international operations. Positions include offshore supervisors and operators for the Romar swarf handling systems.

BASS Prepares Agenda For Sea Japan

BASS will be exhibiting at the Sea Japan exhibition on April 10-12 in Tokyo, Japan. Jointly organized by CMP Japan Co., Ltd and The Seatrade Organization, Sea Japan 2002 will showcase a total of over 250 companies from 27 countries and regions. Software demonstrations will be shown throughout the exhibition period. Representatives from the company will also share customer case studies with visitors. BASS together with its Japanese sales agents; Aall & Co., Ltd and Frontier International Japan will be occupying booth number NOR-04 at the Norwegian Pavilion. Furthermore, BASS will participate in the New Technology Seminar that will be held alongside the exhibition.
