Gazprom Integrates All Companies in Tax Regime

Russian energy company Gazprom said that six companies of the Group – Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan, Gazprom Transgaz Samara, Gazprom Transgaz Saratov, Gazprom Transgaz Tchaikovsky, Gazprom Transgaz Ufa, and Gazprom Transgaz Volgograd – will join the tax monitoring regime on January 1, 2020.The conglomerate, which carries on the business of extraction, production, transport, and sale of natural gas, is actively working to integrate the Group's companies into the tax monitoring system.The transition to this form of tax control aims first and foremost to further increase the transparency of the Gazprom Group's activities.The step-by-step adoption…

Dynagas, Gazprom in New Long-term Time Charter Contract

Dynagas LNG Partners signed a new long-term time charter contract for the Clean Energy. The Partnership, through one of its wholly owned subsidiaries, entered into a new long-term charter agreement with an affiliate of the Gazprom Group for the employment of its 2007 built 150,000 cbm steam turbine LNG carrier Clean Energy. The charter is expected to commence in July 2018 and will have a firm term of seven years and nine months. The Partnership expects to generate approximately $133.0 million of gross contracted revenues over the life of the contract. Gazprom, PetroVietnam Ink Multiple Deals

Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), signed today in Moscow a number of documents to strengthen cooperation between the companies. The signing ceremony was attended by Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (SRV). the Addendum to extend the Cooperation Agreement on personnel training. According to the Memorandum of Understanding on the development of new oil and gas projects, the parties plan to examine further opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of hydrocarbon prospecting, exploration and development.

Gazprom in First LNG Bunkering at Rostock

Gazprom Germania GmbH, a subsidiary of Gazprom Export, has carried out its first bunkering of a ship with liquefied natural gas (LNG) at the port of Rostock, Germany. In the early hours of the morning of February 27, 2016, a ship was fueled with LNG for the first time in the southern Baltic Sea. The bunkering took place at Germany’s largest Baltic Sea port. The ship bunkered was the M.V. Greenland, a cement carrier owned by the Norwegian shipping company KGJ Cement AS. The LNG was transported to Rostock by road tanker. “We are very pleased to witness this new development at our port,” added Jens Aurel Scharner, managing director of Rostock Port.

Construction of Gazprom Center launched in Minsk

Minsk hosted today an official construction launch of Gazprom Center – a Gazprom Group-owned multi-purpose complex. Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus and Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee took part in the event. Situated at the corner of Nezavisimosti Avenue and Filimonova Street close to the National Library of Belarus, the new complex will consist of nine contemporary premises of various heights, designed to be integrated naturally into the surrounding metropolitan area and to complement the existing buildings nearby. A 36-floor building (189 meters high) – the heart of the architectural project – will be occupied by the Gazprom Transgaz Belarus staff and other Gazprom Group-owned companies in Minsk.

Gazprom Earmarks RUB 10.8 bln for R&D

Gazprom Group continues earmarking considerable funds for financing research and development (R&D) activities. In 2014 a record-breaking amount in the whole Company history – RUB 10.82 billion – was devoted to these purposes. Gazprom is one of the leading Russian investors into innovations. More than a half of these funds were channeled to priority engineering projects. Thus, for the first time a comprehensive engineering design was prepared for developing the Kharasaveyskoye gas & condensate field located partly onshore, partly offshore. Gazprom Building up Resource Base

In 2014 Gazprom Group (excluding Gazprom Neft) performed exploratory drilling of above 125,000 m of rocks, constructed 32 prospecting and exploratory (7 and 25 accordingly) wells. Over six thousand linear kilometers of 2D seismic profiles were processed, 3D seismic survey covered in excess of 11 thousand square kilometers. In the Russian Federation, prospecting drilling was performed across an area of more than 112 thousand meters of rocks. 30 prospecting and exploratory (24 exploratory and 6 prospecting) wells were constructed. Above six thousand linear kilometers of 2D seismic profiles were processed, 3D seismic survey covered the area of above 11 thousand square kilometers.

Gazprom to Upgrade Gas Supplies to Kyrgyzstan

The development of gas transmission and distribution infrastructure of Kyrgyzstan was discussed during a meeting held at the Gazprom headquarters hosted today between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Djoomart Otorbaev, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic. It was pointed out that the relevant facilities in the Republic were well rundown. In this regard, Gazprom is working out the General Gas Supply and Gasification Scheme of Kyrgyzstan until 2030. Gazprom to Counter Negative Global Market Trends

The Gazprom Board of Directors took note of the information on the Company's financial strategy under the conditions of negative trends in the global financial market for the Russian business entities. It was pointed out that the geopolitical events involving Ukraine as well as American & EU sanctions imposed on Russia affected many Russian companies. In this context Gazprom thinks it is necessary to adhere to the current financial strategy, which provides for the Company's good standing and enables it to swiftly react to the possible aggravation of the situation. Russia's Shipping Major Reports Strong 1H 2014

OAO Sovcomflot (SCF Group), Russia’s largest shipping company and a global leader in seaborne energy transportation and offshore services, has announced its financial and operating results for the six months ended 30 June 2014. SCF played a key role in organizing the first ever races of tall ships in the Black Sea – “SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta” that took place in May and called on four ports – Varna, Novo, Sochi and Constanta. “The tanker market remains challenging, with freight rates fluctuating near their historic lows during Q2 after a strong start to the year in Q1 from which Sovcomflot benefited from improved conditions within the crude oil segment in particular.

Centrgaz to Construct South Stream in Serbia

Today in Belgrad (Serbia) South Stream d.o.o. entered into a contract with Centrgaz, which won the bidding for the South Stream gas pipeline construction in the Republic of Serbia. Centrgaz, part of Gazprom Group, will focus on design, procurement, construction and installation activities, personnel training and commissioning of South Stream in Serbia. The contract stipulates involving Serbian subcontractors in carrying out certain operations. Kuwait in Talks on Russian LNG Imports

Gazprom informs it has hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Abdulaziz Al-Adwani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to the Russian Federation to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas sector. In particular, the principals addressed the idea of broadening their co-operation on Gazprom's LNG supplies to Kuwait, as well as the implemetation of other joint projects. Since 2011 Gazprom Group says it has supplied two LNG cargoes to Kuwait.

RS Exhibits at Kormarine 2013

Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) will participate in Kormarine 2013 in Busan, Republic of Korea, one of the largest international exhibitions of maritime industry. On 22-25 October the foremost exhibition of the maritime industry in Asia will gather leaders of shipbuilding industry. RS will undertake a scaled-up participation in this event. The first RS office opened in Korea in 1996 was originally oriented to render its assistance to ships in service in the first place.

Gazprom successfully completes world’s first LNG supply via Northern Sea Route in the 'Ob River' carrier. The carrier left the Port of Hammerfest (Norway) to arrive at the regasification terminal in the Port of Tobata (Japan) delivering a Gazprom Group-owned LNG cargo to Japanese consumers. Russia is an energy superpower and the country has vast and rich natural resources. Besides gas and coal reserves (some of the largest in the world), Russia today is ranked as the world’s biggest oil producing nation accounting for well over 12% of the global output. Moreover, the country exports more than 70% of its oil to the world markets. That said, Russia’s output of oil amounts to a third of what collectively the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) produces. The country has relied on oil production for decades, however there has been a notable geographical shift.
