TGE Marine Receives Order for LCO2 Cargo Handling System

TGE Marine has received an order from the Chinese shipyard Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Offshore for the design and supply of a cargo handling system for a 7,500m³ liquified CO2 (LCO2) carrier.The vessel is the third iteration of the series TGE Marine has been part of for the Norwegian consortium Northern Lights JV.The ships are part of the “Longship project”, a Norwegian state-founded effort to de-carbonize large emitters in Norway. SEA-KIT Awarded ZEVI Funding to Build Hydrogen-fueled USV

SEA-KIT International has won funding from the U.K.'s Zero Emissions Vessels and Infrastructure (ZEVI) competition to design and manufacture a hydrogen-fueled uncrewed surface vessel (USV). Jurong Port, MHI and JERA Explore Plan to Build Ammonia Power Plant in Singapore

Boskalis Plans Switch to Green Shore Power in Rotterdam

The Port of Rotterdam Authority and Eneco are going to construct shore-based power facilities in the Waalhaven, Rotterdam (the Netherlands) so that moored Boskalis vessels can run on green electricity instead of fossil fuels.The shore-based power installation will be built on the Boskalis site in the Waalhaven, Rotterdam. There are two berths on the quay at this location, which are both frequently used. World's Largest: Kincardine Floating Wind Farm Fully Operational

Kincardine floating offshore wind farm, located 15 km off the coast of Aberdeenshire, is now fully operational, Principle Power, a company that designed the 50MW wind farm's semi-submersible foundations, said Tuesday.The project, the world's largest of the type, consists of five Vestas V164-9.5 MW and one V80-2 MW turbine, each installed on WindFloat semi-submersible platforms designed by Principle Power. Maersk Supply Service, Ørsted Working on Offshore Charging Buoy

Danish offshore vessel specialist Maersk Supply Service and its compatriot offshore wind developer Ørsted have teamed up to test a prototype offshore charging buoy.The buoy will act as a safe mooring point and a charging station for vessels, potentially displacing a significant amount of marine fuel with "green" electricity. The Elektra push boat ordered by BEHALA, Berlin harbor’s warehousing and logistics firm will be equipped with rudder propellers from Schottel. Elektra will be a hybrid canal push boat powered by a combination of fuel cells, batteries and an electric motor. Rotterdam Port to Achieve Dutch CO2 Target
