Alion Opens New Facility in Charleston

Alion Wins $15M Navy Contract

Alion Science and Technology, an employee-owned technology solutions company, has won a $15m contract to support the Naval Operational Logistics Support Center (NOLSC) as the center integrates and modernizes its logistics support systems that support deployable units in the Navy and Coast Guard. Under the three-year logistics management services contract, Alion will assist NOLSC with logistics planning, modeling and simulation, concept generation and development, and manning, personnel and training analysis. Alion also will conduct the front end assessment for the Littoral Combat Ship, which will serve as the basis for all manning, personnel and training decisions affecting end strengths and budgets.

Alion Contract to Support Navy’s Public Relations

Alion Science and Technology, an employee-owned technology solutions provider, has been awarded a $97m contract to support the Chief of Navy Information Office (CHINFO) with media relations, community outreach, visual information systems, information technology support, Web site portal management and business case analysis development and assessment. CHINFO is responsible for coordinating, planning and implementing public affairs policies and programs, visual information services and community relations efforts for all naval fleet and forces. Under the contract, Alion will support evolving public affairs requirements globally. The Alion team will develop strategies and tactical plans, produce communications materials and support community outreach programs and events.
