Havila Voyages Announces Leadership Appointments

Norway's Havila Voyages announced it has appointed Mette Øyen as its new chief marketing officer and Aleksander Røynesdal has started in the role of new chief financial officer.Røynesdal was hired in December but officially entered his new role March 1. He comes from the position of COO at Norgas Carriers and has extensive experience in the finance and capital markets within the shipping and maritime transport industry.Øyen is scheduled to start in her new role on September 1, 2024.

Solstad Offshore Sells Laid Up AHTS Vessel

Solstad Offshore's subsidiary, Solstad Rederi, has sold the Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel Nor Spring.The 2008-built, 70-meter-long AHTS vessel has been in layup in Asia since 2020. Havila Scores Extensions for Two PSV Charters

Havila Shipping announced it has secured contract extensions for two of its platform supply vessels (PSV).The Norwegian offshore support vessel owner said on Tuesday it has entered into an agreement with Equinor Energy AS for the PSV Havila Clipper for extension of the existing contract until June 2024. It is also agreed an optional period for 6 months for the period to December 2024.In addition, Havila said it entered into contract with Peterson Den Helder BV for two optional periods each of one year, for the PSV Havila Borg.

Peterson Den Helder Extends Contracts for Havila Shipping's PSV Duo

Norwegian offshore support vessel owner Havila Shipping has secured contract extensions for two platform supply vessels.Havila said Monday that Peterson Den Helder had declared the 12 months optional periods for the PSVs Havila Borg and Havila Herøy.The extended period will end in April 2024.Financial details were not disclosed. The Havila Borg platform supply vessel, currently moored in Aberdeen, UK, was built by Havyard in 2009. It is 78.6 meters long, and has a deck space of 800 m2. The Havila Heroy, currently in Den Helder, the Netherlands, was also delivered by Havyard in 2009. It is 80.4 meters long and has a deck space of 805 m2.

Equinor Extends Charter for Island Offshore's Supply Vessel

The Norwegian oil and gas company Equinor has given a longer-term charter to the Island Commander offshore supply vessel.The vessel, which is owned by Island Offshore, is currently on spot assignment for the same company.The 2009-built offshore vessel will now stay on a charter with Equinor for another seven months. Equinor will have two two-month options to extend the contract further.Island Offshore says that with this contract, it now has two offshore supply vessels and one walk-to-work vessel working for Equinor. DOF Charters Havila Phoenix CSV. Wins Contracts in Atlantic Region

Offshore vessel operator DOF Group is pleased to announce multiple new contracts in the Atlantic region and the long-term charter of the construction support vessel Havila Phoenix.In the Atlantic region, DOF said it had secured an Integrated Field Support Vessel (FSV) contract with an international operator in West-Africa. The contract is for 365 days firm, with 365 days of options. Norway-based Havila Shipping ASA said it has entered into contracts with Peterson Den Helder BV for two of its platform supply vessels (PSV), Havila Borg and Havila Herøy.Havila Borg has been chartered for a fixed period of six months, plus one optional period of 12 months.Havila Herøy has been chartered for a fixed period of a drilling campaign estimated to 90 days, plus one optional period for up to 370 days.Havila Borg has already started its latest contract, and Havila Herøy will start on the new contract on October 18 in direct continuation of work for Peterson.

Havila Shipping Sells Two Platform Suppliers

Norwegian offshore shipping company Havila Shipping has agreed to sell platform supply vessels Havila Aurora and Havila Fortune for an undisclosed sum.Havila Aurora was delivered on Thursday to the buyer, which Havila did not identify. Havila Fortune is scheduled to be delivered within the next month. Norwegian offshore vessel owner Havila Shipping has won vessel contracts with Nexans Norway and Peterson Den Helder. The company also secured work of one AHTS with an unnamed client.Nexans Norway has chartered Havila Shipping's subsea vessel Havila Phoenix. Havila said Tuesday that the contract was in direct continuation of the existing contract. Havila Lines Up PSV Charters

Norwegian offshore vessel owner Havila Shipping this week announced it has been awarded two separate platform supply vessel (PSV) charter contracts.On Monday, the company said it entered into a contract with Harbour Energy for the 2010-built, 85-meter Havila Commander. Estimated to commence in January 2022, the contract is for a firm period of four wells, with one well option.On Tuesday, Havila Shipping said it entered into contract with Amilcar Petroleum Operations for the 2009-built, 78.6-meter Havila Borg. The contract is for a firm period estimated to four months included mobilization and demobilization, with optional periods for up to two months. Commencement will be between January 15 and February 15, 2022.
