UOS Completes Acquisition of UOS Support and Hartmann Offshore

Bibby Bags North Sea Contract

Bibby Offshore won a two-phase multimillion dollar contract with a leading oil and gas and production company. The contract, awarded in April, will see Bibby Offshore carry out IRM services across a number of the operators North Sea assets. Bibby Offshore Bags Spirit Energy Contract

Subsea services provider Bibby Offshore said it has secured a fixed term framework agreement with independent oil and gas operator Spirit Energy.Awarded in April, the two-year agreement, which follows on from a previous five-year agreement, will see Bibby Offshore carry out inspection repair and maintenance (IRM) works, remotely operated vehicle (ROV) inspection and subsea survey operations across a number of North Sea structures and pipelines.The project will utilize Bibby Offshore’s diverse fleet capabilities, including its multi-role diving and ROV support vessel, Bibby Sapphire, a Quasar M

Offshore Groups Bibby, Rever Merge

The U.K.’s Bibby Offshore will merge with Norwegian firm Rever Offshore AS in a move targeting opportunities in the diving and subsea umbilicals, risers, and flowlines (SURF) markets. The transaction has been agreed and is expected to close soon, announced Bibby owner Fara Holdco Limited. The merger will combine Bibby and Rever subsidiary CECON Contracting to create a larger offshore installation delivery business both in the North Sea and internationally, currently focused on the Atlantic and Mediterranean regions.

Bibby Offshore Recapitalization Completed

Subsea services provider Bibby Offshore Holdings Limited said it has completed the recapitalization of its balance sheet announced on December 5, 2017. The agreement to recapitalize the balance sheet was approved January 10 by 98.7 percent of noteholders of the £175 million (approximately $243 million) 7.5 percent senior secured notes, and makes noteholders the new owners of the group. “The completion of the recapitalization will be transformational for Bibby Offshore and is a major milestone for our business,” said Howard Woodcock, chief executive of Bibby Offshore.

Bibby Offshore Bags Mega North Sea Contract

Bibby Offshore, a leading subsea services provider to the oil and gas industry, has announced a multimillion dollar contract with a global energy player, to provide first gas and construction support on its assets in the Southern North Sea. The contract, due to be executed between Q3 and Q4 2016, will see Bibby Offshore’s construction support vessel Olympic Ares, and its diving support vessel Bibby Polaris, perform subsea engineering work 150km off the coast of Lincolnshire, in water depths of 21m and 48m. Bibby Offshore Clinches BP Contract

Bibby Offshore, a leading subsea services provider to the oil and gas industry, has been awarded a multimillion pound contract by BP to replace subsea infrastructure in the Central North Sea. The work is part of the $1billion Eastern Trough Area Project (ETAP) Life Extension Project announced by BP in the summer. ETAP is one of the largest and most complex developments in the North Sea, comprising nine oil and gas reservoirs, six of which are operated by BP. The ETAP Life Extension Project (ELXP) will help secure the future of the fields until 2030 and beyond. The Bibby Offshore ELXP contract involves installing new subsea control system infrastructure to safeguard power and communication links to ETAP’s Machar, Madoes and Mirren fields, some 150 miles East of Aberdeen.

New Bibby Offshore Vessel Christened

On Thursday, April 9, the official naming ceremony took place for inspection repair and maintenance (IRM) light construction vessel Olympic Bibby, at the Kleven Shipyard, Norway. The ceremony saw the vessel’s official Godmother Connie Brown, wife of recently appointed Chairman of Bibby Offshore Mike Brown, christening the NORSOK compliant, 4,500-metric-ton vessel in front of a crowd of 250. Commenting on her experience, Brown said: It’s been a great honor and privilege to christen the Olympic Bibby.

Bibby Offshore HQ in Final Stage of Construction

The new purpose-built headquarters for subsea installation contractor, Bibby Offshore is entering its final phase of construction. The new 53,427 sq. ft. office facility at Prospect Park, Westhill, which represents a multi-million pound investment, is on track to be completed by April 2013. Bibby Offshore staff are due to relocate from its existing offices at Waterloo Quay to the new premises by the end of May 2013. A planning application has also been submitted for a new warehouse workshop and yard on Peregrine Road, Westhill.

Bibby Offshore Invests Millions

Aberdeen-based subsea installation contractor Bibby Offshore has announced investment of around £11million in Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) systems for its latest division, Bibby Remote Intervention Limited (BRIL). Initial investment of close to £4million has been made in ROV systems for Bibby Offshore’s fleet of Diving Support Vessels (DSVs) to bring the service provision in-house, while 46 jobs have been created on and offshore within the division already this year. The company has outgrown its current offices at Waterloo Quay and is moving to accommodate an increase in staff numbers and services as it expands operations both in the UK and internationally. Bibby Launches Training Scheme

Bibby Offshore Launches Graduate Training Scheme. Aberdeen-based subsea installation contractor Bibby Offshore has recently welcomed its first six graduates onto the Bibby Offshore Academy Graduate Training Scheme. Bibby Offshore Academy was launched last year to address the training needs of potential future employees and for the management and development of current staff. Six graduates were recently enrolled on the graduate scheme and plans are already in place for a further intake in September this year.

Bibby Offshore Acquires Dive Support Vessel

Bibby Offshore Limited, the Aberdeen-based provider of subsea construction and offshore management services, announced that it has acquired the dive support vessel (DSV), Bibby Sapphire, from the vessel’s present owner, Volstad Subsea AS. A $52.5m loan facility has been provided by Standard Chartered Bank to fully fund the acquisition. Standard Chartered Bank will act as sole lender in the transaction. Bibby Sapphire has been on time charter from Volstad to Bibby Offshore for the last five years.

Bibby Charters Offshore Support Vessel

Bibby Offshore Limited has entered into a long- term agreement to charter a new building 94 metre DSV/Construction Support vessel, built in Norway’s Aker Langsten Shipyard. The state of the art vessel, to be named Bibby Sapphire, is owned by Volstad Maritime AS. She will be available to the North Sea construction market from early August 2005, and her future deployment is currently being discussed with interested parties. Following the addition of a full 15 man Saturation Diving system, the vessel will also be available for diving work from the start of 2006. The DSV will be the first vessel of its kind to enter the North Sea region for some years and shows the commitment of this dynamic new player demonstrates Bibby Offshore’s commitment to this market.
