AKOFS Offshore Wins Three-year Petrobras Contract for 'Skandi Santos'

Oslo-based subsea well intervention and installation services company AKOFS Offshore has signed a three-year contract with Brazil's Petrobras for its vessel Skandi Santos.Under the contract, the Skandi Santos will perform a broad scope of subsea services in Brazil. The services will start in Q4 2022 and the total contract value is about $107 million. AKOFS Offshore, owned by Akastor AS (50%), Mitsui & Co., Ltd (25%), and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (25%)., will be performing the Skandi Santos operations with its partners Bravante for marine services and IKM Subsea for ROV services.The Skandi Santos is designed to install and retrieve subsea trees and modules, including subsea structures and manifolds at water depths of up to 2,500 meters.

ROV Contract for IKM Subsea Singapore

IKM Subsea Singapore wins contract to provide ROV services onboard a construction support vessel for a FPSO Hook-up & Commission project in India. The vessel has been mobilized in Singapore and is currently enroute to India. IKM Subsea will be providing the in house built Merlin WR200 Workclass ROV together with all necessary toolings onboard the vessel to support the operations. Business Development Manager, for IKM Subsea, Mahesh Govindan says it is a fantastic way to end the year with the award of a contract that would continue to build on the company's track record in the region.

Forum Sells Two Sub-Atlantic™ ROV's

Forum Energy Technologies sell two Sub-Atlantic™ ROVs to IKM Subsea for deployment in North Sea and Singapore waters. "We recently won a five year frame agreement with Statoil, and we intend to continue our strong growth both in the Norwegian and International market," says IKM Subsea Managing Director Ben Pollard. IKM Subsea Business Development Manager, Mahesh Govindan added, "Sub-Atlantic's technical and spares support capability in Singapore was one of the key factors in our decision to purchase the vehicles.
