Jackson to Direct Global Marketing at KVH
Elizabeth Jackson has joined KVH Industries, Inc. as chief marketing officer and senior vice president for strategy. Jackson has worked at a variety of companies including Proctor & Gamble, Campbell Soup Company, Summer Infant, and HookLogic, a Bain Capital Ventures portfolio company in ad tech performance marketing. Prosafe Taps Andresen as CEO
Semi-submersible accommodation vessels owner and operator Prosafe has made several changes to its management team. Jesper Kragh Andresen was appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Stig H. Christiansen as Deputy CEO and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Prosafe Management AS. Georgina Georgiou will continue as General Manager of the parent company Prosafe SE. From 2012 and until recently, Andresen was CEO in Axis Offshore. Prior to this he was President of Lauritzen Offshore and Managing Director of J. Lauritzen Singapore.
New CEO for Antwerp Port Authority as from January 1st
Jacques Vandermeiren is Chief Executive Officer and President of the Executive Committee of Antwerp Port Authority as of 1 January 2017. Until January 2015 Vandermeiren was CEO and President of the Executive Committee of the network operator Elia, a listed company, where he held various management positions since joining it in 2001. Before that he worked for 11 years as Senior Advisor Strategy Direction with the energy company Electrabel. Vandermeiren has occupied various directorships with among others Febeg (Federation of Belgian Energy Companies) and the Federation of Belgian Enterprises.

Michel van Roozendaal (M.Sc. Aerospace Engineering; MBA INSEAD, Fontainebleau; b. 1963) has been appointed President of the MacGregor business area. He will be a member of Cargotec's Executive Board and report to President and CEO Mika Vehviläinen. Michel van Roozendaal joins from Ingersoll-Rand where he has been heading the Thermo King Global Marine, Rail and Bus businesses. Prior to this he has held global general management roles with companies such as United Technologies, Danaher, JCI and Honeywell.
Jessup Appointed Sr.VP in Kalmar
Craig Jessup has been appointed Senior Vice President, Services in Kalmar, part of Cargotec. Craig joins Kalmar from Ingersoll Rand where he headed the Industrial Technologies parts and services business for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. Neptune Orient Lines Limited (NOL) announced the appointment of international business figure Robert J. Herbold to the company’s Board of Directors, effective 1 February 2010. From 1994 to 2001, Herbold was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft Corporation. Chemoil CEO Dies in Helicopter Crash
The Board of Directors of Chemoil Energy announced that the company’s CEO and Executive Chairman, Robert V Chandran passed away January 7, 2008 from injuries sustained when a helicopter he was traveling in crashed in the Riau Province of Indonesia. In the aircraft with Chandran was Terence Gidlow, Chemoil’s Vice President of Business Development, who was injured but is in stable condition. Chandran built Chemoil Energy into one of the world’s leading independent suppliers of marine fuels since he founded the company in 1981.
Lund Named New Statoil CEO
At its meeting on March 7, 2004, Statoil's board of directors appointed Helge Lund (42) as new chief executive for the Statoil group. Mr Lund is currently chief executive of Aker Kværner ASA. "Helge Lund was the first choice of the board and we are very pleased that he has agreed to lead Statoil in the years ahead," said Statoil chair Jannik Lindbæk. Lund graduated as a business economist at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administrationin Bergen. He also has a master of business administration (MBA) from the Insead business school in France. Before he became chief executive of Aker Kværner, Lund had a number of positions in the Aker RGI system, and before that he had a central role in the top management of Hafslund Nycomed.
P&O Appoints Rice To Board
The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company added Charles Rice as a Board Member with immediate effect. Rice, 47, is Managing Director of P&O TransEuropean, the Group's European logistics business. He joined the Group in 1974 and held a number of commercial and operational roles within the container division in Japan, Australia and the USA before moving across to logistics and distribution. After a period as Managing Director of P&O Trans European in Germany he was appointed to his current position in 1996. Rice has an MBA from INSEAD and an honors degree in history from Oxford University.
